G Magazine recognized as “Best of Charleston” | March 2012

CisternYard.com wins seventh place at ACP/CMA national convention | Oct. 30, 2011

The George Street Observer, Cougar Television (CTV) and CofC Radio staff received recognition in the Best of Show small school publication website category for their combined work on CisternYard.com. The website placed in the top ten recognized with the ranking of seventh place in the nation. The ACP/CMA National College Media Convention took place in Orlando from Oct. 26 to 30.

The current Editor-in-Chief of the George Street Observer is Geoff Yost. Mackenzie Armstrong is the General Manager for CofC Radio and Abby Frye is the General Manager for CTV. Mandi Bryson advises CisternYard.com.
